Piper Cam Runners Wanted! Dephaser knackered, So Cam's Ahoy!

Right, Basically my car is currently with Fred @ BTM having the PAS Pump done.

I'm actually chuffed i've taken it there as Fred has let me know about a few other issues with the car, Inc dephaser pulley, cracked alternator bracket and a couple of other issues to do with my Cam Belt change I had done at a 'reputable specialist' of whose name I won't mention as it's not important to the subject.

Seeing as the belt & dephaser now need to be replaced i've started considering Cam's.

I've read a thread on here somewhere regarding the difference between Cat Cam 428's and the Piper Cams regrinds. I think i'm going for the regrinds as i'm not sure i can afford the extra £400 with the Cat Cams.

Does anyone have any experience of running the Piper Cams?

Andymans your man, he get favourable results with Pipers, and not so faviourable with the 428's.

Ahh, Thanks. Thats the thread I read. Hopefully he'll be along sometime but i'll drop him a PM re this thread anyway.

Meanwhile, anyone else running these?

why not, while you're at Fred anyway, ask him about/what cams ?
