Pioneer DEH P7400MP vs P740MP

Since I got my Pioneer DEH P740MP HU Ive had this little nagging feeling in the back of my head because all of you guys who have similar have the DEH P7400MP HU, and Ive been trying and trying to discover the difference, at one point I even thought I might have some Pirate Copy thing.

Anyway it appears he main difference is "The DEH-P740MP has all of the features of the DEH-P7400MP plus three sets of high volt (4V) pre-outs."

The P740MP also supports CD Text

What sort of advantage do these extra 4V pre-outs give me over the std pre-outs of the P7400MP?

front channel - amplified front comps
rear channel - amplified rear speakers
sub out - as it says on the box, all filters are fully adjustable for the sub from the head unit
