im wanting to give photo editing a try heard photoshop cs5 was good?? tried the usual cheapest way of getting a copy but was taking forever i dont suppose anyone has a "spare" copy? Cheers

Photoshop elements 9 is what I use. Costs £60. ish.

Like dan said, Download the demo from adobe website and you got 30days to trial it. No restrictions.

https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=photoshop that link should work and thats the 30 day trial although you will need a hell of a lot longer to master it. Stick with it as it is an extremely powerful tool.

You can get it a significantly cheaper by buying the "Student and Teacher" edition. I'm not sure if it's actually any different but Amazon says they won't release the serial key without you providing proof that you are a Student or Teacher. Other sites say nothing about this though.

They are exactly the same. When you purchase the Educational version you have to send off proof of your attendence/academic status they they will send you the serial number with/without disc's depending on if you choose a digital edition or hard copy.

You can also buy the adobe suite in packages, IE master collection, Web Design, Sound Design, Creative etc.

I've just bought a new desktop computer and could do with this magnificent piece of software. £600 i've heard it costs an my desktop with monitor etc only cost £380!

I've tried the usual means but no luck lol

If you're just getting into photo editing then give Photoshop Elements a go instead... (as mentioned above in fact). Cheap, will do most (if not all) of the things you want to do, and not too daunting if you're relatively new to the process. Alternatively there is GIMP...

I've downloaded the 30 day trial from adobe, i'll give it a shot to see how it goes. Im a cr*p hacker but the trial also gives you the option to enter a keygen, surely thats an easy target for experienced hackers. Hopefully I'll meet one who can offer a helping hand
