Ph1 fuel rail

I have 2 ph1 fuel rails now and neither have fuel regulators on but ive noticed some do, y is this and whats better lol

only early ones had return lines. Later single line systems have the regulator in the tank attached to the pump. Neither is better really, both supply the correct fuel. for a turbo'd car IMO a return line setup with regulator up front is better as you can have vacuum/boost compansation on the regulator, but otherwise it makes no odds
