Petrol octane

Hi,
The car im about to buy( rs 200 no cup)
The manual says 95/98 octane
The previous owner was fueling 95octane(for 50k ),is it problem? Should ill keep putting 95 or 98?

Not at all, Some people on here swear by shell v power which is 99ron others just stick morrisons 95 petrol in. Personal preference I don't think mine runs any better on the higher octane stuff but I still fill it with v power ha.

You think it can make any problems to the engine etc...?( lets leave the fuel consumption and hp etc...)

It will run 95 fine, it's designed to.

If it's remapped specifically for 98ron + characteristics, then run it on that.

The handbook says it's fine to run on 95 RON, so it's fine to run on 95 RON. If there was the slightest chance of there being a problem the handbook wouldn't say it was ok.
