Petrol Light

I have a Clio 197 but the petrol light doesn't seem to come on. I used to have a 172 and this was the same. It tells me how many miles i have left but the needle has just moved onto the red and the petrol light and extremely loud beeping sound it usually makes doesn't come on. Any clues?

be brave and keep going, it will come on.

usually it will come on when the trip computer drops below 35miles left, when you see --- displayed on the trip computer then the red light will come on.

cheers for that. It's on 40miles left at the min so I'll run it lower and see!

Make sure your petrol station isn't out of fuel before you leave

I run mine down to empty everytime.
