Petrol gauge problem 197

Guy my girlfriend has managed to put petrol in my 197 with the engine still running and now my petrol gauge is reading empty, petrol light is on and my trip computer is reading zero! I have done at least 20 miles since she put petrol in? Have I damaged the engine .......

Ha ha ha well her car got stolen then she got made redundent so insured her on it to try and help her out! When u done next steve????

This was two days ago I have made 4 seperate trips now and still it's 'empty' but still going! Will try putting more in on Friday! Could I have damaged engine?

Disconnect the battery for half an hour. This may reset the parameters

Dig out the radio code first though
