Passenger seat air bag gone off quick fix?

Passenger air bag went of after a small mishap. Can I just use a resistor like people do when they put aftermarket seats in to cure the lights being on? And will this also mean that the other air bags are activated again?

Airbag computer will need resetting as its now in a locked state. Few places on ebay should be able to do it.

If I can get a second hand air bag module that hasn't been locked will the above fix work?
