Passenger Door

My passenger side door doesnt lock with my central locking button on my remote but locks with the key.

does anyone know how to fix this or if its common etc?

ahhh please help, should i just take it in renault and ask them to have a look?

The solenoid has gone, needs a new one. Take off the door card, unscrew the three screws holding the lock in place and pull off the plastic fob that links a metal rod to the outside door handle. The with some fiddling about remove the old lock mechanism and go get another from the local scrap yard. I paid a tenner for mine.
