Hi all

Don't worry about numbers, if this gets big and looks like it needs extra time we will donate the appropriate track time so we can accommodate this. The oval is 1.5 miles long so that is a hell of a lot of cars. As we are not using the infield area (trade from last year) we will be able to stack up to 300 cars in there so this is not a problem.

I understand Dans mum etc may be coming to this so I cannot think of a better way to remember Dan.

The parade will be more than one, that's for sure as I would imagine there will be people still emerging when the lead car does one lap. I am also confident everyone will be sensible in the circumstances.

We need to think about who will lead the procession.

Maybe the owners of his old cars?

Given the spirit of the parade if any-one doesn't act accordingly there will be consequences, rest assured this is not about hooning around on track this is all about paying tribute to Dan.

The owner of Dans R27 is selling the car, I have contacted him and asked him to refer the new owner to CS in the hope the new owner will be happy to bring the car to FCS for us.

I'm not sure what's happening with that Kneel. A friend of his got in touch with me to let me know the whereabouts of the R27. I contacted him back asking if he would explain the circumstances to his mate and see if he would be available for FCS, he replied saying that he was trying to get him to come anyway; so I think the possibility of him attending is definitely still open.

also as for the sticker, perhaps we could have like a small sticker which adds onto the FCS 09 sticker, perhaps with Iridium and (whatever year he was born in)-2009. as suggested i'd happily pay an inflated price for one if the "profits" were going to charity.

This would be tricky to organise but I have a picture in my head and it would look good.

We get some giant vinyl letters made up and place them on everyones roof to spell out some words.

This could look good from the grandstands around the banking at the back of the track if we got it right

Would make a lovely photo with the right camera.

maybe it could spell Iriduim RIP or something
