Paint Finish On Struts (182)

Should the paint finish on my struts look like this?

Is this finish due to some sort of sealer or is it bubbled paint, it is soft, I could sink my finger nail into it, and even scratch it off if I wanted.

If other 182 owners would take a look at their cars and post a reply I would be most grateful.

that was both my cup and my 182 by the way, i have pictures with the same finish

Dont worry its a sealent which is painted ontop of.
That colour looks stunning in photos though.

Thanks for the reply, that puts my mind at rest.

I cannot remember seeing it before on my car or the Arctic 182 before it.

Its been there all along, probably, just cant recall noticing before.

no its ok, some are worse looking than others,and the orangey colour probably makes it look worse, but its quite normal , always worth checking these things though
