Been using 500px for a year or so, never really got much attention on there and I didn't resort to "Please check out my work" type comments on other people's photos, so I was a bit surprised when I uploaded this earlier today and it seemed to go down well:

It reached "Upcoming" after an hour or so, which I'd never done before, then became Popular a bit later.
Funny thing is I reckon I've taken much better shots, this was just click and then a few minutes cropping and processing. I've spent hours on others. Must just be timing I guess? Anyhow it brightened up a dull Sunday morning
