Oil light comes on when engine is warm

Faulty pressure sensor if not the oil pump if weak and fooked , take it you checked the oil

The oil level? I changed the oil not long ago, it's bang on maximum on the dipstick.

No, if the light came on and there was no pressure it would already be too late. Engine without oil pressure wouldn't last minutes. My bet is the oil pressure switch
