offset confusion? caliper clearance

hi

im goin to be getting some 197 calipers for my 182 but wanted to no about clearance and im confused about offset.

i bought some speedline 2118's off a swift rally car and had them bored out to fit my 182 but didnt pay much attention to the offset which is ET32 and i believe the recomended for the clio is ET38-43

my wheels are 15x6 ET 32, i cant get my head around how it works so does that mean i will have slighty more clearance than normal?

sorry if i sound like a dumbass!

i no if it does i will most likely still need spacers but im just curious.

Yeah your wheels stick out more than normal Clio wheels, so more chance they'll clear brembos as they are. 6" width is pretty narrow though? Most Clio wheels are 6.5 at least.
