Hi first of all ive borrowed another users pic from another thread, hope they dont mind! Basically i think this part needs replacing, the engine is knocking and ive been advised it could be this (see pic) as the rubber has perished

thanks, could a DIY novice rookie replace an engine mount or does it need to go into a garage?

is it an upper engine mount?

yeah its the upper mount, search on here for a guide to replace it.
