Sarah - The Saph has Stage 3, last time I had her on RR came out at 320bhp 380lbs, she's nippy but useable bhp. Had a bit of paintwork done here and there one her and I splashed out on some AP brakes last year.
It's back in the garage now for some TLC after me ragging it round a few tracks last year, hence the purchase of the Clio, already booked onto Bedford in Feb, really looking forward to that, loving the Clio as my everyday car too.
I 'used' to also drive this (my other half's car), but she is now broken up for bits and we are awaiting the right Evo to come along and replace her.

I've seen the YUM Escort before, saw it round Lakeside a fair while ago. I think it was that one, there's another quite well known Imperial one that ends in that too.

I think my other half used to go to Lakeside years ago, and down to Southend, I have only ever been down there once.

Shame yours is broken up now, it's lovely !! What was it making etc ?

I always wanted an Escort Cos when I was a kid, I could make my childhood dream come true now, but I don't have the room for it (and i'd be worried about idiots trying to take it away) RS hunting is also a minefield too !

LOL Thanks, I would love another Escort in the future, but other half said he wont have another one. So will stick with the 172 and the Saph. I dont think I will ever sell the Saph.

Never seen that one, but if you have seen it at Lakeside meets etc we have never been down there for years. Never seen it at any Ford meets we been to.
It is a shame to see it broken up, but for us it was a lot of money sat in the garage not being used.
It was put on an engine dyno and made 711bhp, we were running 1.8bar on the road which is approx 620 bhp. It was a bit of a handful.

Yes M.A Developments did all the work, they look after my Saph too. Yes was the 2.0 block but was 2.15 stroker.

Always been into Ford's, the 172 is the first non Ford I have owned, but have to say I love it, it's a fab little car.

Yeah we took it to the ring and it broke down in Belgium ! Sent it home when we got to Germany, then had passenger rides all the time in our friends Evo's!
I was looking through a Fast Ford mag earlier as I knew i'd seen a pic of the Escort recently.

How comes you decided to break it up ?
Been to Brunters a few times, we did do one of the Daddy Thrash's with Preformance Ford.
The last top speed run we did was 194mph.
Other half just got fed up with the car, needed some more work which meant more time off the road and we never really used it much anyway, so was decided to break it.
We are looking at Evo 9's at the moment, a couple have caught our eye's.
Enough was ploughed into it, in fact i'm not actually sure how much ! Best I dont know either !
Will have a look when I get home about the times as I cant remember off the top of my head.
