Got my new wheels and tyres, next track day is at Snetterton 300 on 9th June, not wanting to destroy my new tyres on their first outing....what is "heat cycling" of tyres, read it many times on this forum but so far, after extensive searching, have not found and explanation as to what it is and why it's important.
I always "sight the track" even if I think I know the layout for 2-3 laps, come in and check pressures etc before any fast work.
