new shape clio speakers sound better than 182

Currently have a 60plate clio at work, the standard stereo and speakers sound alot better than what's in my 182, the speakers are same size but look to be slightly different, just wondering if any one has fitted a set, and what they sound like? Bought a set of alpine speakers but they didn't sound as bassy as the standards and don't want aftermarket headunit

Order some and try and fit them?

You might have discovered something really good for the OEM+ crowd (I count myself a member of said crowd).

mite do, i don't know if there there same as the rears in the 182 they look more of a speaker rather than a wooferif you gt what i mean???

only 3 or 4 screws holding them in why dont you take the 60 plate clio home and plug one in.. I think its a different connector from my old 1.2 16V mk2 than it was in the 1.2 tce mk3..

There is also the possibility that the later model Clio's doors just make it sound better.

To late cats going out tonight, there is the possibility that it could be down to the doors, mite take the plunge and find a set, got nothing to lose!
