New paint

ok, having a new bonnet, new front bumper and resprayed wings within the next 3 weeks or so.

whats are the rules on polishing/waxing new paint?

ive got SRP and P21's, i remmber hearing its ok to wax and not polish, or is it the other way around? lol

not too sure on how long it'll take to cure properly Lewis. the rules is no wax just polish during the curing period.

When you get it all sorted we'll have to have a photoshoot :)

No sealants of waxes unless the bodyshop says it is ok, also no polished that contain the above so the likes of Autoglym Super Resin are out of the equation. Some of the Meguiars Pro line products that are pure polishes are ideal.

In the same token the bodyshop may bake it properly and tell you it is fine to apply sealants/wax straight after.

If thats the case and the bodyshop says no sealants then how long do you have to wait until you can???
