new nano connecting to standard headunit..

Its a new ipod(with camera) and i wanna connect it to my 04 plate 182 standard headunit. What do i need to do this and be able to control it through the steering wheel controls please? totally at a loss!! :dapprove:

Im sure you cant control any iPod thought the steering wheel you need a new Headunit to be able to do that like the Alpine IDA X100 for example

You can get a kit which will allow you to control your ipod via the stalk controls & it will also charge your ipod. Im gonna order mine from MT Audio soon

I fitted the Connects2 one yesterday in 5 minutes and it works brilliantly. It charges and uses the stalk controls..
