I just bought a new key and talking with the renault specialist ......told me that I have to pay extra money to codify it in the workshop........


do you know the procedure to do it myself ?

Paid aprox £130 for a new key for the other halfs car last year. They program it using the clip machine as mentioned above. Someone on the forum used to have one I think??

i don't understand if when i buy a new key it arrives with the imobilizer code already programmed in .......so they want the extra money to sync it .....or they have to program it ?

They have to program it to work with your car so the code on the key matches the car needs a clip machine.
