I'm sure i found them for sale on the k-tec website
in fibreglass & carbon fibre but there not there now.

If you've changed yours where did you get them from?

I just rang k-tec and they've discontinued
them for the time being because of fitment
issues. Bugger!

Might not be resolved for a month or so.

I guessing there the only people that make replacements.

Streamline were going to, there was/is a GB but not sure how thats working out, they were too busy at the time to complete.

Might be worth a call

Just rang Streamline Carbon, there still in
development, next couple of months till they
have a finished product.

Guess i'll have to wait and see who starts selling them first.
Sick of looking a my tatty steering wheel though.

Ive often thought of taking them off and trying to replace
them with suede cut to size and glued on.

Don't want it to look like sh1t though.

:dapprove: thats not good! I orderd some from ktec about 2 weeks ago and they said there would be a delay. They didnt say they were discontinued though.

Ill have to give them a call.

Ive got a spare £45 from a car boot sale so was gonna spend it on something cheap, I don't think i'll be able to afford a whole steering wheel
though.

I might just wait till k-tec start selling theirs again, then again I might spend it on some white dials, if I don't spend it soon it's just gonna get spent on petrol (boring).

I've yet to see any aftermarket thumb grips fit very well.

Ive often thought of replacing the thumb grips with suede, not sure if it would look good though or if glueing them on would make it look a mess.

the guy from streamline lives down the road from me so ill pop along and ask how they are doing. this really is silly that they melt and you just cannot get replacements
