hey all i have searched for this but to no avail :(

1st things first:

car was working perfectly 2 days ago.
it was sat on my drive yesterday, and i tried to start it up just now, but nothing :(

can hear a wizz when the key is turned to ignition - fuel pump priming?
turn the key to start but nothing, just a few clicks :(

central locking doesnt work, lights on dash are very dim.

immobilizer seems okay

tried push starting but that doesnt work:(

help would be much appreciated

cheers,

It sounds like a battery fault to me?

But when you say tried pushing it to start how hard did you really try?

Sounds a lot like the battery.
But if it were the battery would it not attempt to turn over?

As it just clicks it suggests another problem.
Then again, that could be down to an extreme lack of current due to the death of your battery :p

Unsure as I am no expert though

cheers for the info/help guys :)

well

pushed at a running pace, was moving quickly enough
sometimes it does want to start, makes more than a clicking noise, sometimes it doesnt :/

tried to jump start as well and that didnt work

also checked all the fuses

loads of lights on :/

immobiliser light comes on then goes off, as does fuel light and airbag
stop, service, the exclamation mark light, oil, battery, and ABS lights all stay on.

sound like it's shorting?
