My Si cleaned :) And its sunny

Took a few pictures of my clio after I cleaned and polished her yesterday. Shes a Mk2 Ph1 1.6 Si 8v. Shes all standard but looks pretty smart I think.
Rammed her yesterday and got this out of her

1st - 30mph
2nd - 48mph
3rd - 72mph
4th - 83mph
5th - well slowed down just after 100mph

Looking tidy, should go quicker in gear though surely? 83 in 4th? My old 1.6 did that in 3rd and so did my 1.2 thinking about it (well ish).

Was going to say - it should be about 57 in 2nd and just over 80 in 3rd. Not that I've ever gone that fast on a british road of course!

My 1.6 C4 will hit nearly 90 in 3rd.

Remember my old 1.2 reading 117 on the dials which means it was probably really doing 100ish.

Yeh but it still stupidly low, the 8 valves aren't waaaay low limitered afaik.

I think to be perfectly honest what i wrote there was complete crap because coming back from the gym a second ago.. i was hitting 50mph in 2nd at 5000rpm.. still abit of pull too go before changing to 3rd sooo.. someone stick some soap in my mouth for talking lies.

my mk1 1.2 clio does 33mph in first gear but that is with pedal bouncing LOL thats before i fitted 1.4 dash LOL
