My mate has bought a Sport Spider!

And it is sweet! Its a R-reg with 6000 miles on the clock and has been tweaked by Nick Hill. It is currently running 210bhp and unofficial timing says 0-62 in 5.5 secs and onto 100 in around 14 secs. Not to mention the fact it has an Orbisound racing zorst...sounds sweet! Havent been out in it yet but will hopefully next week. Here are some pics:

No his everyday car is a white transit! He also has a 1988 Porsche 911 Turbo LE but he says this isnt much slower and handles much better!

Think he paid £18000 for it but he doesnt need to do any work to get it to go quicker.

They are lovely, though never sold well in the UK, there were only about 100 of them but 6 years on they still look fantastic. If he did pay £18000 their price is holding up very well too.

Thats the later model. It still has no roof, but it does have a windscreen, which the earlier ones didnt. Lovely car, there was one at the Nurburgring at Easter.

Rob - That sound like crap to me! My mates is pushing out around 210bhp and that has Racing Cams, Throttle bodies, Orbisound Exhaust, ECU upgrade and possibly a different manifold...so I doubt that other one will have 200bhp! More of a guess would be 165-170bhp

they are so nice! i raced a standard one whilst filming on the RSC gumball last year.. it was blue.. he had a roof made just for it... well sweet, not really that fast though, i pulled past it after 120 otherwise i just kept up. still got the video of it... wicked fun... me in my valver ,a 19 16v, and a 2l megane coupe all racing up to 130+
