My Interior Fans are on all the time!

Yesterday I was driving home from work with the interior fan on level 2 on 19 degrees.

Suddenly the fan level increased to the max although the display was still on level 2.

Now the fans are permanently on and even when I press "Off" they are still on. I can adjust the heat still so that rules the thermostat out.

What do you think it could be? I can't take out the fuse because its on with the wipers and reverse light :dapprove:

Does the fan electronics have a separate control board I can take out and put a scrapyard jobby in? Just to see if it's that?

Heater resistor pack I expect. about £20 from ebay and under the scuttle panel at the front to fit. Takes no time at all.

I've just done one on a scenic with climate and i've done a couple of 182's before.

Someone did mention that there's a guy on ebay that repairs them? No idea about that though.
