I think it looks spot on, i have been looking at buying one of these as a weekend thrash around.
It would go nicely with the Mk1 XR2

NMS big ported head (come the new year)
NMS spec cams (come the new year)
83lb Siemans injectors
Modified RS500 T4 turbo
2wd manifold
14mm Inlet spacer

bla bla

Once it's been mapped in the new year should make over 500bhp

As for the wheels I hate them in pics, but they look lovely in the metal.
Thinking about getting a set of 6 spoke comps, maybe a dark colour just for a change as it's a killer trying to keep white wheels clean.

You can get the 18" copys mate, but they are made from the standard wheel so you can't fit big brakes under them. Shame really.

Edited to say it was around 400bhp, come the new year when the new engines mapped it should make over 500bhp.

Thats the ones mate but maybe in gun metel grey or something, also prefer the older style where the spoke sit inside the wheel.

Im not living in Shields anymore mind mate, mind im only down the road from there LOL

My cars in storage for the s**t weather and I was sick of using the van so I picked a 172 up, I was surprised how quick they are tbh, and got it quite cheap.
It's burgundy and seems to have all the toys, just going to service it and fit new pads on sunday.

We usually go in our Track clio, didnt manage it last year due to them having to change the noise limit, and our car would not have passed. So we went to the Mallory park one instead.
