After a brilliant but cold day at bb tuning my power figures seem to be
engine power
147.5 bhp @105mph/6639 1/min
Wheel power
99.3 bhp@ 105mph/ 6639 1/ min :S
power losses
44.8 bhp @ 105mph/ 6639/ 1 min :S
torque
122 lbs/ft @ 5971 1/min (engine)
I was hoping to see figures of 117bhp @ the wheels but for some reason there seems to be alot of power lossed when it goes through the transnission.
is this something to be concerned about, and what can be done about it.
andy said it could be to do with many things , eg tyre pressures, ht leads, spark plugs, gearbox, ...........................
the list goes on lol
btw my car has 58k on the clock, fully mongoose system inc de- cat (fitted last thursday)
green cotton induction kit (fitted on friday )
