My Amps and Subs..

Hi Fellas, heres a few pics of my ICE. The subwoofers are Digital Designs 9512e Dual 1-ohm VC 12s and the amps are U.S. Amps DE-3000 Class-DE monoblocks (the two big ones, 3000 watts RMS each) and a TU-4360 4-channel Vacuum Tube Class A (4 x 75 watts RMS).

I still have to neaten up the cabling but I couldnt wait to hear how it sounds so I just did a quicky.

Nearly got as much as me! I do love the transparent amps. What did it sound like? Are you actually running it at 1 ohm?

Sounds quite loud actually but the box needs to be larger with more port area and tuned lower. Subs are wired at 0.5 ohm to each DE-3000.

Bet it sounds nice... Im running a couple of power acoustic MOFO-12s with 1 ohm Dual VCs, on a pair of power acoustic a3000db digital amps (3000w RMS each). All 1 ohm stable, but Im running it at 4 ohm as there just isnt enough room for the air movement, and it would drown out all the higher frequencies from the components. I really need a bigger boot as the box fills it up. Our set ups are quite similar. Nice to see Im not the only nutcase ;o)
