More power to aerial

I changed my aerial on my RT from the 3ft long thing to a small beesting but i dont get much signal at all i was wonderin if u can get an amplifier for it! i know u can buy amplified ones but i already got the aerial!

i have the same prob but not that often, have u tried pointing it higher into the air?
