Mk1 New rear axle and torsion bar?

  A silver Honda
I went to my garage today to see if i could get my FK suspension kit sorted this week and i now have a major f**king headache!

I've now discovered that the bolts from the rear dampers have snapped inside the axle, on BOTH f**king sides! It's more than an inch deep in there and can't be drilled out apparently.

So i have two options

1. Go to a metal engineering place and get a new threaded bolt welded on top of the sheared bolt and hold the dampers in with a nut. (a bit dodgey)

2. Buy a whole rear axle and torsion bar second hand (How much?)

I might try and find somewhere that can get the bolt out but it's not looking good.

I'm well pissed off and fed up with Mk1 clios and bloody torsion bars!!
