Hi all. Just got back into a Clio after a 2 year sabbatical (driving a derv fiesta!). Bought Steves (R Sport) Ph1 off him, got plenty of questions for fellow ph1 owners but anyone welcome.

Any of you lot nearer Derby way fancy a meet at some point?

Firstly, love the sunflower.

Secondly, a few bits on the car are puzzling me, maybe phase 1 quirks.

Fuel gauge drops like mad from full, 50 miles on 1/4 tank, is this normal?

Also, random pipe coming out of engine disappearing towards gearbox which appears to be 10mm john guest pipe, wanted to see another ph1 engine bay to check what it should be.

The fuel problem depends on how heavy your foot is and if your doing short journeys? What mpg are you getting?

What mpg are you getting?

Between 35 & 40. It dropped like a stone from full. Can't figure out if its the car or a dodgy fuel sender.
