Matched inlets question

Just wondering if peoples matched inlets have been matched all the way through the plenum because mine only seem to be matched at the openings like so..


Is this normal? I've seen on other cars (not clios) that they are matched all the way through, these are done by AP developments, I wanna make sure I'm putting the best possible inlets on my car as I really wanna see the 190hp Mark after my cams.

Yea that's correct, just matches the gasket/head ports size
