low boost turbo

is it possible 2 run a low boost turbo as ive seen people use 1.6mm steel plates 2 de compress the engine and oil in and out and the diffrent exhaust manifold this was on a fiesta by the way

cud u do this with clio so u wudnt have 2 change the pistons but u cud hav a low boost turbo?????

that's what the K-tec stage 1 turbo kit does (possibly even without the different gasket)

it's more than that, but that's because there's a fiesta with a turbo as standard so you can use second hand parts

if you can get the work done cheap enough then you can get it done for about £1000 , we have just turbo'd a mitsubishi colt 1.3 for £250 without mapping..

we modified the standard exhaust manifold to accept an adaptor for a rover t2 turbo, a ford 2.8 diesel wastegate.... modified downpipe, not running an intercooler at the mo as we have to relocated the battery first, awaiting to be mapped , running 4 psi atm but going a hell of alot better ...

soon as intercooler is fitted will be mapped to 8 psi and new managment should be fitted with 3 bar map sensor that we piked up for £120 lol ..

it is running very lean lol hence why its not being used lol onli used once to test then stored lol
