lost compression

evening all

think my car is screwed

car stalled at the lights tonight and wouldnt start after.

AA man thinks i either snapped a cam or timing is out.

open oil cap, cam still turns on key turning but will not fire

check with mechanic tomorrow see the damage.

Could i loose timing and still have allt he vales in place?

Sounds like bad news mate, the very same thing happened to mine in Wolverhampton:dapprove:. Bent some of the valves, bottom end was ok because the car was stationary.

When mine went he sent some one out to pick it up about 9.30 Saturday night, and waited for it to be dropped off....... think he's part machine lol.

I'd give him a call tommorow after 9.
