All depends which one you go to, they are a franchise like powerflow. So you get good and bad ones. Unless you know somebody who has used them before then it is a bit of a gamble.

Would be going for the franchise in Northampton as its really close. Fred is only a bit further up the motorway. Just trying to get an idea of prices to start with. I know that Fred will do a good job as is very highly regarded on here and is only a bit further up the motorway from me in Milton Keynes. I will have to contact him for a quote. Good thing about longlife is they do 0% finance on their systems.

Freds system will be fantastic, Ive got one of the original yozza and the quality of the system really is fantastic.
The Piper exhaust also gets some positive reviews if you are on a bit more of a budget. I think Dan over Bedford way can supply and fit these.

I have a longlife system. Cant fault it! I opted for the 'race' box and it sounds perfect. Lifetime warrenty, awesome build quality, great price.

I'd like to see a pic. Which longlife did you use? Ive seen some really lovely longlife exhausts on 306s and old minis but some really rubbish ones too.
Would love to see a pic please. Seen some decent reviews on the net from other forums. Seems to depend where you go as to what customer service and quality but generally very good feedback. Northampton is only up the road and they offer 0% for 6 months so won't have to shell out the full whack immediately!

I use the one in Bristol. I have had 2 of their systems now, and both have been 100% spot on! Literally cant fault them or their service! But as mentioned previously, they are a franchise so im sure its hit and miss.

I had one fitted to my old 172 and I got everything I asked for. even the after care was great. a year after having it I caught the silencer on a speed bump and cracked it. took it back in and they welded it up for me with no questions.

Been in touch with some of the longlife depots and the best for service and price so far is Leeds. Bit of a mission up there but even with the cost of the fuel is still about 130 quid cheaper than Northampton or Bicester! Got in touch with Fred at BTM too, awaiting reply. Thanks for your input chaps.
Thanks Dan, I dropped you an email yesterday. What sort of price for a cat back systems and does it come with any warranty?
