Little fan in interior light unit

There was annoying buzzing noise coming from the interior light unit which turns out to be a little fan
can anyone tell me what its for plz?

temp sensor for air con i woz told. when i bought my car the buzz anoyed the hell outa me so i had the garage replace it

am sure it was a bout £7 4 the part

Its the temp sensor for the climate control mate

Renault replaced mine coz it was making an annoying buzzing noise!
