Lightened flywheel *video*

  182 track, Mk7 ST
I can't get my head around how it drops so quickly.

The reason it's drops so quickly is down to the fact that the flywheel doesn't have the momentum that a flywheel of normal weight would to keep it going. The more weight/mass, the more momentum/inertia it's got which keeps the movement going for longer. If the flywheel is lighter then the engine revs can pick up alot quicker but also drop alot quicker too.

The way the revs drop on this though seems like the flywheel is made of paper lol and the car is pretty slow it seems anyway for what it is, bearing in mind it's 0-60 time is near enough the same as standard 1*2 haha :p
