Looking at getting a 26" LCD tv for the wall in the bedroom. Have seen this Sony one for £400 in Comet or £410 from empire direct with 3 year warrenty

If you can afford the Sony then get that, best picture quality for LCDs, certainly for mass manufacturers, and reasonably well priced now. We have 2 Bravias at home now and look the nuts, just watching the news is a pleasure, the colours are just so vibrant and deep.

Samsung are good for the money though, and share many of the Sony's components.

Tesco's just advertised a 40 inch Sony Bravia for £599?!?!

I thought that was bloody cheap!

just ordered this one :)

Will not be disappointed mate. Currently have a 40" in the lounge and a 32" in the study...once I get to move back into my flat will get myself a 40" for myself once I have saved up. Good deal in Argos too at the moment, £999 for a 40" (not sure which model though) and a PS3, which would mainly be used for Bluray at the moment with the 360 but should come in handy as more games come out down the line.
