Anyone heard any more about Ktec new stealth exhausts being released for 172 I was told was this week by Ktec but not seen anything yet ?

I’m waiting on them too, spoke to them 6months ago that said it would be another 3months ?‍♂️

The Pure Motorsport system is good, more expensive than the k-etc but good quality.

Spoke to pure motor sport they only do manifold back systems which is not what I am after and comes in at 800 quid ?

That looks decent. A lot of exhaust shops would knock you one together for a similar price though and you can tailor the sound to suit whatever you want.

I know mate thanks for the reply I have a few custom places by me but was hoping to find something that was designed and set up for the 172

Thread resurrection I know.

Seems that Ktec have stopped dealing with Janspeed who made the original Stealth exhausts.

Their warranty policy has changed as well so it would seem that if you have an original item, they are no longer dealing with warranty requests for the old systems, at all.

Have a problem with mine that I have to now chase with Janspeed themselves, not hopeful

Well, i had the centre section replaced in 2016 twice as welds failed a couple of times.............no issues there

But the baffles sound to have gone in the back box now..........sounds 'orrible

Reason I ask is I’m getting a strange noise in mine under load aswell. It sounded like it might be baffle related aswell. It’s going up on a ramp weds so I can have a look what the issue might be. Didn’t know if it was a leak, the cat or the exhaust.
