Hi all,
Anyone know if a head from a K4J 712 will fit on the K4J 780?
My girlfriend's Mk.3 water pump shat the bed the other day and caused the timing belt to snap. My Dad has offered the head off my Mum's old 2005 plate Mk.2 1.4 16v to get it going. Wondered if I could just swap the head over (with new head bolts, gaskets, timing belt, tensoners and water pump, etc).
Otherwise, any one know if I could just swap in the bare engine? (don't really want to do that)
