just bought myself a mk2 clio

i have just bought myself a new car, the body work looks all in very good condition, no dents etc. I received the log book through the post today and there is a section in blue that says special notes

"substantially repaired and/or accident damaged: identity checked on 27.10.2005."

does this mean it has been in an accident?

Might have been damaged in transit it does happen.

just found out

write off 11.05.05. Catagory C so quite extensive but repairable. The damage was to the front near side.
