Sy - Im not sure we can still get hold of that headunit with it being the old model. However I will check with our suppliers for you just in case.

Soapsuds - Yes we stillhave some brochures. Did you PM me your address at any time.If not send it through to me and ill sort that out for you. Zapco have recently extended the reference range and most of the amps come with a free symbilink controller meaning that you save yourself loads of cash..bargain!!!

Charlie - The Comp subs are very good value and work well in small spaces too. They wont take too much power as they are essentially the same as the old Impulse series but at the end of the day you get Kicker quality for Sony money.

Cheers

Russ

Ok then, what RMS is the Kicker Comp 10" Sub? and what amp would you recommend to go with it out of that list which could also be use to power a set of comps up front? Also would that sub need a sealed or ported box?

Cheers Phil

  S4 (320bhp) + Clio 16v

alright. my mate bird has got some crappy 8inch sub 4 her car and she needs a box. can u get hold of an 8inch box. i ordered 1 from a local place and they messed me about for about a month

The Comp subs are 125watts RMS as they are essentially the old impulse sub with a different cone design. Something like the JBL GTO 4000 would do the job there for a couple of those subs and it could also be used for powering components and 1 sub if you wanted it to as it is a4 channel amp.

Russ

Would the JBL GTO 4000 be good enought to power 1 Audiobahn AW1251T sub and a set of components? if so what components would you recommend to go in the front, without rear speakers?

Cheers

The 4000 would power an AW1251 but you wouldnt be able to put anything else on the amp as you would need to wire a coil bridged to each side of the amp. Thats because it is a DVC sub. The Kicker is SVC which is why you can get away with it.

As far as components go. You would be best with a set of high efficiency ones. It alldepends on budget again but some reasonable options would be the Audiobahn ABC525Ts which are £109 or some Ground Zero Hydrogen 130s for £100 would sound nice off that amp. Another option would be a pair of the Alpine SPA-136s but they cost a bit more and are similar quality to the Audiobahns.

Sy - Unfortunately we cant get hold of that modelanymore. Our suppliers have got nearly all of the old models except that one which is abit annoying. Have you thought of going for one of the new range instead as they are virtually the same.

dj - We do the full range of Pioneer changer packages as the packs are set by Pioneer themselves.

Russ

evil ice, wot are the audiobahn abc 525q 5.25" components like? wot amp would you reccomend i use to power them?

would i get 40% off the components seeing as i am a member?

Cliojohn bought a set of those components and he is very happy with them. They definately need a decent amp though. Anything with 2x 60watts RMS or over will be fine. The Rockford Fosgate G200S would power them wel.

That speaker set is normally £130 but we sell them for £109 to Cliosport members.

What number did you try to ring? My mobile doesnt use an answerphone system.

What info do you need. I presume it was about the Zapco amps.
