jammed back drivers side door

hi all
will a jammed back drivers side door will it fail in an MOT?? And how do u get the dam thing open?? Lol its like the button is pressed down I've had door card off and cant feel how to open it. Its a Clio mk2 1.4 on a T plate
Oh i cant open it from inside or out.
