Bought this car back in March 2013, but didn't make a thread for it because since owning it I've been insured with Admiral (being 20 at the time) and didn't do anything to the car mod wise because it wasn't worth the rise in premium and fees. This year I'm going with Greenlight, so now have the freedom to make changes to the car.

Came as standard with the exception of a Milltek exhaust and Eibach Prolines.

Since purchase it's been great to me, I put four new Pzero's on soon into ownership, and a few weeks ago it went to Rentech Portsmouth/Hampshire for a 12k/1yr service, MOT and rear discs and pads.

I've covered about 3k in it, as I don't use the car for commuting, sits on ~81k as of now, I'm the third owner (first had it for 7 years up to 2012 and the receipts suggest he pampered it - I've tried getting hold of him, but no luck) and it has a great documented history from day one.

Plans/hopes ahead:
- snappy steering wheel retrim
- RS Tuner 98Ron map
- engine bay tidy (battery cover, top mount covers, painted inlets, painted engine cover, fresh bits, all the usual...)
- interior bits (footrest, some alcantara, maybe Trendlines in the future (looking into 206 gti 180 front seat fitment also), tidy up bits like climate control panel (missing bits of paint off buttons), door switch panels etc)
- wheel refurb, or perhaps Turinis or Ultralaggeras (can't make my mind up)
- rear badges (going to stick to a fresh 1*2 badge in all likelihood - maybe 197)
- continue to keep it tidy, look into sorting out a few stone chips on the front (would like to avoid full front-end respray)

And anything else that perhaps springs to mind in future.

Only thing lacking is decent photos with a decent background - hopefully be able to work on this with summer approaching again.

Made a little change today:

Got rid of my climate panel with worn buttons. The new one needs a quick going over with a cloth to smooth out the little scratches, the new one isn't 100% perfect, but it's a good improvement, the light in the photo shows up the scratches, but I'd guess most will have a few scratches - and if they don't now, it will have once getting it out, what an awkward job.

Also, I have some OZ Ultra's, they'll be going to TWS soon for a refurb, thinking along the lines of matte anthracite.

The more I see liquid yellow the more I want it! Your not thinking about selling are you? :rasp: Lovely car.

OZ Ultra's went off today to The Wheel Specialist to be finished in Matte Gunmetal. Steering wheel is off to Snappy in the morning for a retrim, and today I painted my inlet, fuel rail guard and fitted my battery cover and top mount covers.

I'll get a photo of the bay in the morning, it still looks a bit naff, need to dress all the plastics and give it a bit of a clean up. Engine cover still needs painting too.

I fitted my footrest the other day too.

Things are starting to come together, mega excited for the wheels.

Looking good mate, attack those A/C pipes with some metal polish and elbow grease!

Thanks, I'm thinking about using conduit cable instead.

Watch the top mount covers because the one on the passenger side gets scratched :/

Already happened, I'm a bit annoyed about it actually. I thought the initial batch M.A.D put out had this problem, so they called them all back and sorted it? I'm tempted to contact Dan.

Ahh that's annoying :/ I contacted them months ago and they said they'd send a replacement one but they never did :/ I'd say it's worth contacting them though because they might actually send you one haha

It's the little things...

Alcantara bits, the a-pillars make a huge difference. You can see my horrible steering wheel, and that I need a bit of a hoover inside. Would like a darker headlining, and then a darker courtesy light surrounds and visors, forever chasing the bits where Renault skimped.
