Do you go for the nipple, or just let your finger slide?

I used to swear by the nipple on a Toshiba I had years ago, but on this Dell I got in December, I've persevered and I'm now pad all the way.

Or do you just absolutely have to hook a mouse up to your laptop?

I prefer the nipple as I can move it quicker and you dont have to keep lifting your finger off. However it can be tricky to select small things so sometimes I use the pad. Depends what mood im in really lol.

Gotta be a laser/optical mouse, touchpads drive me crazy, especially if your fingers are a bit moist

I use the pad as it has the inbuilt scroll bar.. much better than those stupid nipple things.. but if im using it at work I hook up a USB mouse.

That's what does it for me...the scroll bar set into the side/bottom of the trackpad.
