Is my tyre dead?

Long story short, small gap in road, woman didnt give way, i moved to save my front wing and mirror and the result is this:

Currently sorting the wheel but in your opinion would like opinions on the tyre? Its a bran new eagle F1, covered about 2k! In myopinion its destroyed the "rim protector" but im not sure if this has any bearing to the structural integrity of the tyre wall itself, id assume it does.

Im getting a new tyre but looking to use this as a spare, obviously if it safe to do so.

Its only an MOT fail if you can see cords when you lift the flap. If you can, and you're feeling a bit pikey, just super glue the flap down!

yh chords showing is mot fail but if they saw that they would just advise a new tyre
