Ipone with normal sim

anyone managed the above? either on the 3gs or the 4.

i understand on the 4 it can be done but you have to cut the sim down?

does a normal sim work on an iphone 3gs if its unlocked?

help please as id love an iphone but have 18 months of a contract left :/ face palm for not getting the iphone in the first place!

You can request a microsim if you need one.

So long as the phone is unlocked, any SIM will work.

Unlocked iPhone 3GS - Standard SIM card, existing will work
Unlocked iPhone 4 - MicroSIM. Best off going to your local store and asking them for a microsim with your number on it. Depending on how c**tish the person is it'll be free or something like £10

why bother cutting it down. call your provider the will send you out a micro one out free.
