Insurance payout?

After my 182 got squashed, it has been officially written off. but im curios as to what i may get paid out for it.
Im asking for a rough guide as to what i may get. any ideas?

I gave the value of £6000 to my insurance when taking out the policy
It had 50k and FSH
Both belts done
1000miles covered on new tyres
Immaculate paint work
Immaculate interior apart from 1 stain on a front seat.

I aslo declared my mods like for like:
Turinis
lowering springs
Yozza exhaust
Both strut braces
Matched inlets
Remap

What am i likely to get back?

It doesn't matter if you tell them its worth £50 or £5million.

They'll give you book figure, which I imagine will be around £5k. You can contest it, you'll just need to prove yours is worth more and they give you a bit extra.

Ask the insurers if you can retain the vehicle for salvage. They will probably let you have it for a few hundred quid and then you can strip it for parts, eg you should get a few hundred quid for the wheels

I doubt you'd get it that cheap. Someone was told £1350 for his 182 and that was proper fucked.

Depends on the insurance company but it's always worth asking
