no just simple question to see what companies people recommend to try as they may have similar criteria or pay less for a more expensive car with a certain company

Cheapest underwriter for most people with standard cars at the moment is EUI Limited.

This means Bell, Admiral, Elephant, Diamond and a few others. They do different things e.g. Bell specialise in low NCB, Admiral in multicar policies etc but in my experience they all price match each other and you can get a multicar policy through Bell etc doesn't have to be Admiral. AFAIK policy document is the same between all of them but read it yourself to check.

Bell, at least, have welsh call centres, always polite and easy to get hold of etc. Suspect the same is true for the others as they pick up the phone saying "EUI Limited..." not "Bell" or "Admiral." They don't really have a clue/access-to-info about certain cars. They do not for the life of them understand that the "cup packs" on the 182 for example are factory fitted optional extras and not insurance-premium boy-racer mods that I did myself.
